Where Do We Ride?

Our programs are run at the various mountain bike trails around Red Deer.  Each area offers something a little unique and allows us to build new skills!

Overview of the Biking Areas in Red Deer

Ever wondered where to ride in Red Deer?  There are 5 main mountain bike riding areas around Red Deer.  Each has unique trails and features.

River Bend Recreation Area

The River Bend Recreation Area offers a beginner perimeter loop where we will often see chickadees and other wildlife.  There are also a series of hills up the river valley and some technical singletrack trails, which offer a good training ground for our older athletes.

Heritage Ranch

Heritage Ranch offers a good selection of singletrack for all skill levels and a chance to see horses!

Mckenzie Trails

Mckenzie Trails have great fields for practicing skills and some fun trails to adventure through the forest.

The Pines

The Pines has open fields and accesses some of the best singletrack in Red Deer.  When riding in this area, kids will also learn basic road safety.

Red Deer Mountain Bike Park

The Red Deer Mountain Bike Park offers a fantastic selection of singletrack for our riders.  Access is off 77 street and there is a good mix of terrain for all riders.
